PickyPooches: JOLLY PETS TEASER BALL

I recently got my dog Kodi the JOLLY PETS Teaser Ball. I’m constantly on the prowl for interactive toys that will capture his interest and encourage him to use his mind. And let me just say this is one of the coolest and most unique toys I have ever gotten him. It consists of a larger, plastic ball with five holes in it. And inside the larger ball is a smaller rubber ball. The idea is that the dog will entertain himself while trying to get the small ball free.

On the box it claims that dogs can’t resist the urge to try and capture the ball inside. So I was excited to see what my active Australian shepherd would think of it. At first he sniffed it, studying the hard plastic shell and then he pushed it with his nose. Once he caught sight of the smaller ball inside he went crazy! He began pushing the ball around the yard and putting his nose in the holes trying to grab the ball. When that didn’t work he picked up the ball and began carrying it around attempting to shake the smaller ball out. This ball kept him busy for 20 minutes straight, no easy feat for a dog as active and curious as him.

It is a very sturdy ball that holds up well to the constant wear and tear of hyper, playful dogs. When rolled across the ground it wobbles and entices the dog to chase it. And it floats which is a wonderful added bonus because Kodi loves to go swimming. This ball has definitely become one of Kodi’s most beloved toys.

The JOLLY PETS Teaser Ball comes in four sizes, a 4.5’’, 6’’, 10’’ and the 8’’ which is what I got for my boy Kodi. It is a wonderful ball that is sure to keep your dog entertained for long periods at a time. I highly recommend it for any dog that loves to play and needs extra mental stimulation to drain their energy. You can’t go wrong with the JOLLY PETS Teaser Ball!
